It may still feel like summer in many areas of the country, but we are well into fall, and corduroy is making a serious comeback this year. From jackets and blazers to dresses and wide leg pants, corduroy is suddenly everywhere right now.

As with most classic styles and fabrics, designers have given corduroy a fresh twist with modern cuts, bold colors, and chic silhouettes. Here are two ways I’ve been wearing corduroy this fall, and then I rounded up a bunch of shopping inspiration for you.
I recently added this KUT from the Kloth Zinnia Jacket in a rich chocolate brown to my closet. I styled it over an ivory sweater tank with dark wash bootcut jeans and a lighter brown boot.
This jacket is very lightweight, so if you live in an area that’s still quite warm, it’s a good one to consider. It runs true to size, or you may want to size up for a little more length, as it’s quite short.
I also love these corduroy flares from Gap Factory. They’re very comfortable, and super flattering too. I went with a classic black, but they also come in a pretty Sierra Brown. I styled them with a stripe sweater in a complementary shade of burgundy.
Here’s how they look in motion, and styled with a puffer jacket on top. These pants run a bit large; the 29 is very comfortable, and that’s rare these days!
